The 2022 River Valley Health Network Wellness Challenge is a 12-week wellness challenge that will help you develop sustainable habits to improve your health and sense of wellbeing. The River Valley Health Network Wellness Challenge looks at many of the pillars of wellness. For 12 weeks, players earn and post weekly points in different categories including physical, emotional, nutritional, financial, and lifestyle. The idea is to be mindful and make progress over the three months and develop healthier habits that will stay with you for the long term. The River Valley Health Network Wellness Challenge is a fun and competitive program that provides great motivation and accountability to help challengers improve their lives.
Participants will sign up in teams of 4 individuals and choose a team name. Individuals earn points for themselves and for their team, based on a point system, plus 15 points for each 1% of weight loss.
Points are earned by completing weekly challenges and weekly weigh-ins. To qualify for weightloss points, initial and final weigh-ins must be collected by an authorized weigh-in attendant at one of these locations:

The 2022 wellness challenge is open to residents that live in and near Appleton, Dawson, Madison, and Montevideo, Minnesota. Teams can consist of co-workers, family members, and friends.
The challenge runs March 6 - May 28, 2022.
The cost is only $10.00 per person to enter.

Week 5 (4/3-4/9) | Stress Management Challenge: Work to help manage your stress through the week. |
Week 6 (4/10-4/16 | Walking Break Challenge: Take a 15-minute walking break daily. |
Week 7 (4/17-4/23) | Cardio Challenge: Spend 30 minutes doing cardio exercise daily. |
Week 8 (4/24-4/30) | Make Smart Money Decisions Challenge: Take some time to evaluate your financial situation and learn to manage money wisely. |
Week 9 (5/1-5/7) | No Distractions Challenge: Eat one meal without electronic distractions daily. |
Week 10 (5/8-5/15) | Organization Challenge: Pick a spot to organize at work or home each day. |
Week 11 (5/16-5/21) | Strength Training Challenge: Spend 15 minutes strength training each day. |
Week 12 (5/22-5/28) | Master Challenge: Complete 3 of the previous weekly challenges each day. |
Additional Challenges:Donate Blood or Volunteer at a Local Blood Drive, Food Shelf Donation, and a 3K Walk/Run
